Living in Southwest DC is pretty amazing. I'm sandwiched between Nationals Stadium and The Wharf, and with the weather heating up, my list of fun to do's is adding up! From events to activities, here's what's happening in my neighborhood. Soccer Game at Audi Field With tickets starting at just $29, a DC United match is a great night out. This is also something you don't have to plan too far in advance because they have games multiple nights of the week. Check out their full schedule here. Stand Up Paddle Boarding at The Wharf The Wharf Boathouse offers kayaks and stand-up paddle board rentals daily. Did you know they also offer kayak tours around the monuments!? Yoga On the Waterfront The Wharf offers FREE yoga classes on the waterfront on Saturdays starting in June. Fresh Local Veggies at Southwest Farmer's Market! Stock up on local foods at the Southwest Farmers Market. Next time I go, I think I'll check out Masala Art's Indian brunch buffet after. Check Out SW Arts Club
With a list of rotating exhibits, there's always something new to check out at the Southwest Arts Club (formerly Blind Whino) . Check out what's currently there here. |
